Türkiye Visa for Arab Visitors

Good news for our Gulf guests: before travelling to Trabzon check Türkiye's entry requirements for your nationality — the current position for Gulf nationals is very straightforward. The information below is current for 2026 and is general guidance that may change at any time.

Visa status for Gulf nationals (2026)

Nationals of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar (holders of the national passport) currently enjoyvisa-free entry to Türkiye for tourism for up to 90 days within any 180-day period — meaning a valid passport is sufficient for entry without obtaining a visa in advance:

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia

Visa-free entry for up to 90 days for tourism (since early 2024). A valid national passport is sufficient.

🇦🇪 United Arab Emirates

Visa-free entry for up to 90 days for tourism for holders of the Emirati passport.

🇰🇼 Kuwait

Visa-free entry for up to 90 days for tourism for holders of the Kuwaiti passport.

🇶🇦 Qatar

Visa-free entry for up to 90 days for tourism for holders of the Qatari passport.

Important notes: This exemption applies to holders of the national passport of these countries (not residents holding other countries' passports, who are subject to the rules of their passport's nationality). The passport must be valid (six months recommended), and the stay must be for tourism and not exceed 90 days within 180 days.
Please note: Visa regulations can change at any time, and the information here is general guidance. For final confirmation based on your nationality and passport type, check the official Turkish e-Visa website (evisa.gov.tr) or the Turkish consulate, or Contact Us and we'll help you with the most accurate up-to-date information for your nationality before you book.

General entry conditions

  • A valid passport (at least six months recommended).
  • Proof of accommodation and a return ticket may sometimes be requested.
  • The exemption is for tourism only; work, study or long-term residence require an appropriate visa from the consulate.
